I was lucky enough to attend a brilliant gig by the independent band HandsomeRat at the end of last month. They're a great band from Manchester, well worth checking out!
I don't have the best equipment for gig photography and I'm very new to it too, but I was pretty pleased with the results.
The Snug is a great little place - cosy, full of character, and very welcoming. Pretty good sound system too for such a small place.
Additionally, it's backed by a scheme from the Music Venue Trust, which is a charity that represents hundreds of grassroots music venues across the UK. The Music Venue Properties scheme basically allows fans to buy shares in order to purchase freeholds, ensuring the future security of these vital community hubs.
Definitely a place to visit again at some point in the future!
