Upgraded and new look

by Jackie on August 29, 2007

No GravatarI’ve just upgraded WordPress (yeah I know I’ve been too slow to do that, but I’ve been busy), and put up a new theme to play around with. Hence, lots of stuff is broken and will probably remain so for a day or so.

One thing that’s broken is the OpenID login, and I honestly don’t know why. It was broken before I did the upgrade, so I can’t blame that. If I can’t fix it, it’ll have to go, because I really don’t have oodles of time to spare on fiddling with plugins. Hope I can fix it though, I’d miss the ability to use OpenID on here. Ho-hum.

*edit*

On second thoughts, I’m leaving the theme as it is for now. I’m in the middle of doing a design for another site and don’t want to be distracted from that for the time being. Plus, I kinda like it the way it is.

Hehe just did a move- and redesign myself, it’s a lot of work. Had too many hacks and tweaks to safely move the old site over, so I just did a database import when I had the new stuff up and running.

Think I have most of the plugins and stuff working now.

That said, I kinda like the theme you have now - nice and clean.

It’s a hassle isn’t it. I’m thinking of moving this site to a new host too but when I thought about it…bleh. Not that it can’t be done, and I would if I had to, but it’s just so fiddly.

Like your sites new look btw, very clean and tidy. :)

Oh, and for anyone interested, OpenID is kind of still working here - when you first try to sign in it takes you to a blank page (don’t ask me why, no idea!), if you refresh that page it then forwards you on to authenticate at myopenid.com, then it will sign you in. I’ll work on fixing it properly when I have more time. It’s not like I have hundreds of people queuing up to comment here. :)

I like the site Jackie. I am going to try to update the Moo-Point theme when Sandbox is updated to the official 1.0 release and incorporating the tags made available in WP 2.3. Take care.

Hi Will. Sounds good. Incorporating tags was really easy thankfully, I don’t know if anything else is missing from the theme but if there is I haven’t noticed it yet. :)
