Organisation

Organisation is not a word generally associated with me. Ask my mother, she’d tell you (she gives me reminders often enough). However, I now have various projects going on in my life, so it’s time to get organised.

I had considered buying a diary of some sorts, but writing my everyday tasks in that seemed like a tedious prospect. So I quickly discounted that idea and decided that something on the computer would far better suit my needs. Time management is the key thing for me, so I needed a programme that would easily allow me to have repeated entries. If I could find something I could use online, even better (as I switch between three different OS’s, it would solve any dependancy problems).

To my delight, I found the perfect programme – Tasks by Alex King. I’ve now been using it for almost a week, and I can’t praise it enough. No matter how small or large your project/task, this caters for it. It’s easy to use, the interface is great to work with, and I can access it anywhere.

There is a price tag attached but it was well worth the relatively small fee for me.

So here’s to my newly organised life, long may it reign!

  1. No amount of software is going to enhance my chaotic personal organisation. It will just codify the confusion. :)

  2. In other words, when I thought I had lost my drive, I turned the computer back on
and the drive, like magic, had suddenly began to work again and all my stuff was where I left it.

Yes. Computers are weird. . .

    Okay.

  3. Are you disappointed that you no longer have the pencil to work with though? I guess not. :)

Glad it all worked out Father Luke.

  4. Great. I find it really useful to be honest. Glad I posted the link to you Zenith.
